Last updated: September 28, 2026
1. Acceptance. By creating an account or using Track My Storm (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. What the Service is. The Service displays publicly available weather and tropical cyclone data, including data from NOAA, the National Hurricane Center, and the National Weather Service, in a map-based format. The Service is not an official source of weather information and is not affiliated with or endorsed by NOAA or any government agency.
3. Not for safety-critical decisions. Data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, and the Service may be unavailable at any time, including during severe weather. Do not rely on the Service as your only source of information for decisions affecting life or property. Always follow official guidance from the National Hurricane Center, the National Weather Service, and your local emergency management officials.
4. Accounts and approval. You must sign in with a valid Google account. Access is subject to approval, and we may approve, suspend, or remove any account at our discretion. You are responsible for activity on your account and must not share your access with others.
5. Subscriptions and payment. Currently this site is in Beta and free. At any time your account may be disabled and in order to use the application again you will have to agree and pay an annual subscription of $20.
6. Acceptable use. You agree not to scrape, copy, or redistribute the Service's data or content in bulk; attempt to bypass access controls; interfere with the Service's operation; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
7. Third-party data and services.
7.1 Maps. Base maps are provided by OpenStreetMap. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). See https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright for details. We are grateful to the OpenStreetMap community for making this data freely available. OpenStreetMap is not affiliated with and does not endorse the Service.
7.2 Other sources. The Service also depends on other third-party data sources and providers, including NOAA, the National Hurricane Center, the National Weather Service, flight-tracking data providers, Google, and Stripe. We don't control those sources and aren't responsible for their accuracy, availability, or terms.
8. Intellectual property. The Service's design, software, and original content belong to Got Bored LLC. Underlying government weather data is public information; we claim no ownership of it.
9. Disclaimer of warranties. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Got Bored LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of property, data, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including any decision made based on information shown.
11. Indemnification. You agree to indemnify Got Bored LLC against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by nature should survive termination will survive.
13. Changes. We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept them. We'll update the "Last updated" date and may notify you when changes are material.
14. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Florida, and disputes will be handled in United States courts.
